Jim Permatteo was a character in the film Hatchet. Jim was the 3rd victim of Victor Crowley to die in the first film.
He was played by Richard Riehle.
History[]
There is no legitimate prior history for Jim, other than him and his wife, Shannon being married for some decades. They decided to visit Louisiana during the festival holidays and took a boat trip of Honey Swamp, before tragedy befalls them and they are victims of Victor Crowley (the urban legend of the state).

Jim's death.
After an Alligator bit him, his wife Shannon had to help him walk when no one else would. Victor Crowley soon appears and charges at them, slicing him in half with his signature Hatchet.

- Uncounting Sampson and Misty (Because their deaths were off-screen), Jim is the only victim in this film to be killed with a hatchet.
