Hatchet Wiki

Jack Cracker is a hermit who lives in Honey Island Swamp. Jack is stigmatized as if he were mentally ill, due to his habit of drinking his own urine. He is the first to die at Victor Crowley’s hands in Hatchet II.

He is portrayed by the late John Carl Buechler.

History[]

Jack Cracker was born in the late 1940s. In 1961, he was a student at Kwaj Middle School. One day that year, Thomas Crowley had left Victor alone for an unspecified reason. In Thomas' absence, two local boys decided to torment Victor until Jack stepped in. However, once they left, Victor attacked Jack, leaving permanent damage to his left eye.
