Ben's death.
Benjamin "Ben" Patrick Schaefer was the main character in Hatchet. He later appeared in a very minor role in Hatchet III. He was the twenty-fourth victim of Victor Crowley in the third Hatchet.
He was played by Joel David Moore.
History[]
Ben Schaefer was a college graduate who went out to Lousiana to spend his summer with his friends. He was there to try to get over his then girlfriend, who cheated and left him for another man.
Death[]
He has had his arm amputated at the end of the first movie. He was later killed two nights later when Victor Crowley throws a Hatchet into his face.
Personality[]
Beginning with an awkward personality, down in the dumps and seemingly desperate for affection/interest from Marybeth Dunston (or any female acquaintance at that time after his ex supposedly cheated).
His personality would soon change during the horrific events of the first movie becoming an acting leader, quick witted, brave, and heroic member of the group.
Appearance[]
He is a tall, slender man, dark brown hair, stubble with a goatee wearing a white long sleeved shirt and a black shirt over top with a signature smiley face. He is recognized 10 years later by Chloe, Alex and Rose making a fan movie of the events during the 1st Movie including him, during the 4th installment in the franchise “Victor Crowley“.
Trivia[]
• He is found and later killed in Hatchet III in the boat he presumably bled to death 2 nights before in Hatchet as a surprise cameo.
• He is killed the same way Victor Crowley was originally killed with a hatchet to the face.
